Silas Tolles is an award winning documentary filmmaker and professional video editor. He graduated from Montana State University Film School with multiple honors. During this time Silas worked as an editor for Expedition Overland for two years. Working at Expedition Overland equipped Silas with a strong understanding of story, pace, and travel cinematography. Silas continued his professional career in LA as a freelance filmmaker; working for companies such as Donut Media and Tavik Swimwear

Over the past 4 years Silas has focused primarily on documentary shorts and branded content. With a passion for people, nature, and philosophy, Silas has cultivated a unique style of authenticity into all of his work.

Now residing in Phoenix, AZ, Silas works as a freelance filmmaker promoting brands, creating documentary shorts, and writing narrative work.
