I’m a storyteller at heart. It’s led me to multiple awards in filmmaking and an unquenchable desire to showcase the passionate, the adventurers, artists and athletes of this world.

Originally from Seattle, nature has always played a key voice in my films. Nature is rhythmic, seasonal, and emotive; And after years of telling stories I began to see these same parallels in the people or brands I was capturing. Incorporating these parallels through editing and cinematography has been an exciting journey.

Over the years I’ve cultivated a visceral, authentic style to my works. Starting my young career with Expedition Overland in Bozeman taught me the power of long form editing and attention to detail. Continuing my journey in LA, I honed my skills editing with Donut Media creating viral, fast-paced content.

I’ve acquired an abundance of technical skills in film production, but story is always what keeps me coming back. Gimbals are cool and RED cameras look great, but none of it matters if you don’t know what someone’s about, what problem a brand is solving, and the best way to showcase that. Nothing excites me more than combining incredible visuals, with poignant sound, and rhythmic editing to create films that come alive.
